VINTAGE SILVER GARCIA BIT W/ LARGE DIAMOND CONCHO, GOOD FOR USE OR COLLECTING:

This is another great bit from the makers at Garcia. This one has a diamond theme, unique all by itself, but it also goes great with some of the vintage bridles and parade saddles.The shank of this bit is closest to a Nevada style shank which is just a real good mid frame using shank with just a little leverage. There is a LARGE diamond concho at the mouth on each side of this bit. It measures 2.5\" high and 1.75\" wide. It has a beautiful diamond cut pattern within that really adds sparkle. It is a dome type of shape, so sets off the shank and really draws the eye. The diamond on the right side shank has an almost imperceptible dent approx. 1/2\" from the bottom. It is really not noticeable to the eye, but you can feel it if you run your hands over it. I have added a picture with text pointing this out.From the mouth piece the shank is just under 6\" long, so again, a great using bit. The shanks and slobber bar are fully engraved with a large swirl pattern. The slobber bar has 3 dome looking accents, one on each side and one in the middle, there are some minor rubs to these, but they aren\'t really noticeable.The bit has a true 5\" Salinas mouth with an engraved copper hood over a textured roller. This is pretty much a fixed jaw bit. The bit is used, but in very good shape. This bit is a little on the heavier side, but well enough constructed that it won\'t bother a finished bridle horse.The bit is marked Garcia and 18 183 on the inside of the right shank. The insides of the shanks on this bit are matte black as are the back of the slobber bar, the mouth piece and the running edges which gives the bit nice contrast.Please ask questions prior to offerding.
