Thisis a very old/vintage level. The brass plate says: “Stanley Rule & LevelCo., New Britain Conn, USA and gives the patent dates shown in the header.

Thelevel is in excellent condition for its apparent age. The wood has a nicefinish. The brass is bright and in good condition. Both bubbles seem to work asthey should.
