Here I have up for sale is a clean and early Stanley #5 smooth bottom jack plane with 2 patent dates stamped behind the frog, has the Pat. Ap\'l 19, 92 cutter, smooth lever cap in perfect condition, much of the original paint remains but does show a little enhancement from a previous owner, sole and sides are clean but do show some little light scratch marks, perfect throat area, nice colored rear rosewood handle and solid low front knob. Handle is solid but does show an old owner repair at the base but seems to be very solid. All in all a very good user Stanley early #5 jack plane to add to your wood shop.
