VINTAGE STEIFF 10cm (4”) MOHAIR AIREDALE TERRIER “TERRY” EAN 1310,00 This cute Steiff animal is a mohair Airedale Terrier Dog named “Terry”. Terry the Airedale was produced by Steiff from 1951-1961, and it came in several sizes; this is the 10 cm version. Terry is made with fluffy mohair fur with tan and black markings. He has little brown glass eyes, brown felt ears, and a black stitched nose and mouth. Terry measures 10cm (approx. 4\") tall at the top of his ears and 11cm (approx. 4.3”) long from nose to tail. He is missing his original “Steiff” button and yellow ID Flag; there is a tiny hole in the left ear where it used to be (there is also a very small seperate chunk taken out of the bottom of that ear, and a similar indentation on the top of the right ear). If the yellow Flag was still present, it would show an EAN of 1310,0 or 1310,00 (depending on when he was made). The “Original Steiff” paper name tag is also missing. He has some slight mohair loss on his back, right rear leg, and tail. Otherwise, this “Terry” dog is in very good condition, without any holes, rips, bad seams, or odors. He would make a great addition to (or start of) your Steiff collection, or a nice gift for the Steiff collector on your Christmas list!
