Lot of Five Vintage Tiki MugsDescription and Item Information
Up for sale is this grouping of five vintage tiki drink mugs. Please excuse the glare in the photos. Included are a PMP (Paul Marshall) tiki mug (approximately 6 3/8 inches tall), an OMC Japan (Otagiri) three tiki faces \"bucket\" tiki mug (approximately 4 1/4 inches tall), an OMC Japan (Otagiri) surfer girl tiki mug (approximately 6 1/8 inches tall), a barrel-shaped, handled brown Aloha Hawaii coffee mug with a hula dancer on it (approximately 3 5/8 inches tall), and a CocoRibe Liqueur coconut-shaped mug (approximately 3 3/4 inches tall). Unpacked, this set weighs approximately 3 pounds 1.9 ounces. These Polynesian-themed mugs would be an exotic addition to a collection of Hawaiiana, or they would look great atop a tiki bar.Identification
The PMP mug is unmarked. The OMC three faces mug and the OMC surfer girl mug are unmarked and they do not have OMC stickers any longer. The Aloha Hawaii mug has no additional markings. The CocoRibe mug says, \"CocoRibe Liqueur\" on its side; the base is marked, \"CocoRibe Co 60 Proof Cinn O.\"Condition
The mugs look good overall, with light wear. The OMC three faces mug and the Cocoribe mug have no chips or cracks. The PMP mug and the surfer girl mug each have a couple of fine hairline cracks. The PMP mug has a few tiny glaze flakes, surface scuffing /wear, and staining / soiling to its unglazed surfaces. The surfer girl mug has a couple of small base flakes and the cold paint has worn off. The Aloha Hawaii mug has light finish wear. There is fine glaze crazing. The mugs are dusty inside, and could use a light cleaning. Most of these were made as promotional mugs to give away, and therefore, they were not made to be technically perfect. As made, there are minor manufacturing flaws like variations in glazing, indents, asymmetry, etc. Please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing.Note Regarding Best Offers
