This is an unusual, vintage clay pottery ceramic Doll Figure, we believe it is from CentralAmerica, specifically Nicaragua...This sale is for just ONE of the two figures available and shown in the firstthree photos, the one on the right hand side and also shown in most of the photos.. The other figure (which is signed on the bottom)is featured on a separate sale.

This articulated clay doll figure has arms and legs which are separate from the body and held in place by elastic bands, much like a traditional doll would be... The arms and legs, therefore are movable... This figure is wearing shoes with heels, and has a pony tail or braid on the back... Great hand painted polychrome finish..

This clay doll figure measures 15 1/4\" tall (seated) by about 10\" wide at the knees and 11\" deep..the diameter of the base is about 4 1/2\"

Condition is very good with no major chips, cracks repairs or flaws to report...There is minor wear to the clay finish and still remants of burnishing from firing.. We have not cleaned or touched up either one of these figures, they appear exactly as we received them from a local collector\'s estate....
