I do not collect pens, so I will do my best to describe this beautiful example. The side is imprinted: W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co, Fort Madison, Iowa, USA, Patented in the USA. The tip says: Sheaffer\'s Reg. US Pat Off, Made in USA, 14K.It is black with what looks to be inlaid wood, but we think it is celluloid. PEN measures approx. 7 1/2\" long.
