Vintage c1940\'s R. Wallace & Sons solid sterling silver tilting tea kettle or pot with original stand and burner. Measures 13 1/4\" total height to top of handle in up position when mounted on stand X 8 1/2\" wide from tip of spout to back of pot and weighs 1174 grams. The kettle and stand are stamped sterling 1680 along with R.W. & S maker\'s mark and the kettle is additionally marked 2 3/4 pints. The burner is stamped sterling with Wallace maker\'s mark. This well made old tilting tea kettle is in nice shape. Lid hinge and swinging handle are tight with no looseness or wiggle. No dents or bends in stand. The pot shows about a half dozen tiny dings spread around the sides. Definitely no big deals. The burner is also in nice shape with a full wick. One side of kettle shows a scripted KLW monogram.
