This vintage restaurant-ware coffee mug was from the White Tower Hamburger restaurant. White Tower was founded in Milwaukee, WI but had several locations throughout the midwest including as far south as Richmond, VA. The bottom is stamped with Carr China Company, Grafton, WV, USA along with the number 49.
The mug is in good shape showing only some minor normal wear and a dark smudge (see photos). It stands approximately 3\" tall and is approximately 4\" in diameter at the top.This is a heavy old mug weighing over 1 pound empty. It holds about 4 oz. A fantastic piece of history to add to any collection of advertising or restaurant ware!
