VINTAGE WILSON TRAPPER BASEBALL GLOVE FIRST BASEMAN late 1940s:

This is a Wilson brand trapper first baseman\'s glove from the late 1940s. It measures 10.5\" from top to bottom and 10\" from side to side. It fits on the left hand for a right handed thrower. The inside says Wilson Made in USA. A2640. Major League \"A Trapper Model\". The back has the US patent info, It\'s a Wilson and instructions to place fingers. There is no ink or writing to mar the glove. It is soft and supple with a nice Tobacco brown patina. The lacing has a few brittle spots that have come undone in the web. The lacing may have been replaced at some point in this gloves\' 60+ year history. The piping has some erosion due to age in the back. Makes a great display item!
