Welcome!It is my pleasure to present to you: One vintage Windows 98SE DOS gaming PC, in great working condition, cleaned and tested to play the old games you loved, exactly the way you remember them. It features a 200 MHZ Pentium, Socket 7 Motherboard with ISA slots, an ISA Creative SoundBlaster, fresh copy of Windows 98 installed, and the case shows a megahertz value on the front of PC.

General:Computer is refurbished, cleaned with compressed air including all fans, all dust build up removed to ensure air flow and flawless performance. The case is then wiped clean, Windows 98 SE with DOS installed. Hours are put into each DOS machine I sell to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of DOS/Windows 98 games and applications.
This is for the tower only (monitor, cables/cords, mouse and keyboard, etc are shown for testing/presentation purposes only).
Motherboard:RARE Socket 7 (486 compatible) motherboard with 4 ISA slots and 4 PCI slots. Only takes 5-pin DIN keyboard connector, and serial mouse. Be sure to either have this type of keyboard, or get an adapter for your ps/2 keyboard to plug into 5 pin.
Processor:200 MHZ Pentium MMX
Floppy Drive:Works great, had zero problems. Tested to format, boot, etc.
(Due to the unstable nature of floppies & floppy disks however, I cannot also guarantee it will work flawlessly for you.) Floppy drive may vary from what is shown.
Creative SoundblasterThis is an original OPL (FM Operator Type-L)sound card. This card will make games sound exactly like they did when you played them 20+ years ago. Creative would go on to produce cards years later later, which attempted to emulate OPL, and the earlier versions did poorly at it. The game would play, but something just doesn\'t sound right... This card however is original; the real thing.
PC Speaker:This machine is equipped with a good 0.5w PC speaker. If you remember games with PC speaker music and sounds, you know that nothing can emulate the sound of a real PC speaker, the way it resonates through the steel of a PC case.
Hard Drive:Western Digital 120gb IDE Hard Drive. This drive was checked with HDTune for sector errors, and passed (thorough test - all sectors were checked)
CD Drive:Creative 52x IDE CD Drive. Tested working for reading CDs. Although connected to the sound card via the audio wire, sound does not appear to come out of the audio jack. CD Drive may vary from what\'s shown.
Case:Excellent case - shows MHZ on front (although this differs from what the processor is actually running.) There is a large chip on top of the front bezel (see pics), as well asscratches and dentson the case.
Configuration:
- Windows 98 SE freshly installed
- DOSKEY added to autoexec.bat for command prompt hotkeys
- PKZIP/PKUNZIP installed, added to PATH for convenience
- TP7P5Fix for DOS gaming. This stops all games that throw 200 and 201 errors during installation and makes them just work (google200 errors tp7p5fix for more information)
- Soundblaster drivers installed
