VINTAGE c1918 WW1 RAF LEATHER FLYING GAUNTLETS GLOVES NEWEY BROTHERS BIRMINGHAMA PAIR OF VINTAGE WW1 RAF LEATHER FLYING GAUNTLETS that date back to around 1918, the button poppers have NEWEY BROTHERS, BIRMINGHAM on the top and on the underside. I have been reliably informed by the previous owner that his grandfather used them for many years riding his motorbike in his spare time. The medium sized gauntlets are as can be seen in the following pictures DISTRESSED with some wear to the right hand gauntlet thumb, forefinger and little finger on the inside edge. There are also some tears and light spotting on the leather on the inside of the gauntlets.
