This lot is the TOP of my collection. They are considered the most rare and valuable.Each of these beanies has their swing & tush tags attached. I have created collage photos so that you can see the errors for yourself. only allows 12 photos but I have many more individual photos of each beanie. 1) Valentino (4058) : Has brown nose instead of black nose. \"Original\" is misspelled as \"Oriiginal\" on front of swing tag. \"Surface\" misspelled as \"Suface\" on back of swing tag. Missing stamp inside of tush tag, indicating that it was not mass produced. Vintage style PVC pellets, 1993. Red star on tush tag. Date discrepancy: swing tag says 1994, tush tag says 1993. Extra space between \"Handmade\" and \"in China\" on tush tag. Tush tag has a circled \"R\" and also a TM. Tush tag has missing comma after Oakbrook and a comma after IL instead of a period. Tush tag has 1965(KR) indicating Korean market. Inside of swing tag is \"Fareham, Hants\" (and is missing the designation of U.K. at the end). Large red CE on tush tag. Comes with plastic swing tag protector.
2) Peace (4053) : Made in 1996 with Polyester fiber and PE pellets. \"Original\" is misspelled as \"Oriiginal\" on front of swing tag. \"Surface\" misspelled as \"Suface\" on back of swing tag. Missing stamp inside of tush tag, indicating that it was not mass produced. Red star on tush tag. Extra space between \"Handmade\" and \"in China\" on tush tag. Inside of swing tag appears to have mismatched lettering (especially look at the lowercase letter E\'s). Tush tag has a circled \"R\" and also a TM. Tush tag has missing comma after Oakbrook and a comma after IL instead of a period. Tush tag has 1965(KR) indicating Korean market. 6) Mel (4162) : Style number printed inside swing tag. Missing stamp inside of tush tag, indicating that it was not mass produced. Vintage style PVC pellets, 1996. Red star on tush tag. Tush tag has missing comma after Oakbrook and a comma after IL instead of a period. Tush tag has 1965(KR) indicating Korean market. Inside of swing tag is \"Fareham, Hants\" (and is missing the designation of U.K. at the end). Large red CE on tush tag. Small crease on bottom of swing tag, as pictured.
7) Mystic (4007): Extra space between \"eyes\" and \"!\" in last line of poem in swing tag. Fine yarn mane and tail considered more rare, as opposed to thicker yarn or fur that was later used. Missing stamp inside of tush tag, indicating that it was not mass produced. Red star on tush tag. Tush tag has a circled \"R\" and also a TM. Tush tag has 1965(KR) indicating Korean market. Large red CE on tush tag.Swing tag is slightly damaged, see photo.
Again, I have probably a dozen more photos of these TY\'s as I had intended to sell them separate. If you want to see more photos, please message me. I have instead decided to group them together for the holiday season. This would make a great gift for a collector (or even yourself)! I consider this a great value as I\'ve seen them go for $50 each, easily.
All items are in excellent mint condition unless otherwise noted. They have never been played with and are part of a large collection in a smoke free home. Photos are of actual items.
