I FOUND A HUGE COLLECTION OF MY MOTHERS BALTIC AMBER DATING FROM THE 50\'s to the 90\'s she kept in a velvet drawer I\'m going to slowly be listing all of it. I know nothing about Baltic Amber all I do know is she had it all insured and she treasured her Amber Jewlry she was a contemporary artist and teacher for over 30 years I hope you enjoy her pieces. Here is a copy of a bit of writing I found in her drawer- thought it was cool don\'t know where it is from but I thought I would transpose it for you:

Amber gradually forms and hardens over many millions of years. In fact, most of today’s Amber is from 30 to 90 millions old. Amber’s scientific formula is written as C10H16O, incorporating carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.
