Beautifully carved 16\" articulated wood artist\'s mannequin. Made from oak wood I believe, see pics. I\'m unsure, but looks like oak, see the knot on the left hip.

Great patina, brass screws, charming piece!!

A couple of photos show the mannequin outside so you can get a better idea as to the color of the wood stain.

CONDITION: In great condition, but please expect the usual wear associated with a pre-owned item of this age. I see no chipping, but the figure does have some scratches. Though stiff, all of the joints move with right arm being slightly loose, but can still hold a pose(see pics). The mannequin bends at the waist only slightly by design. This big guy is a marvel by design and can strike just about any pose imaginable. The balance is amazing as he can pose on just one foot(see pics)

AGE: With the brass screws and just Art Deco design throughout the body I\'d put the mannequins age at approximately late 1940s to early 1960s. That\'s my best guess.

APPROX DIMENSIONS: 16 inches tall, a full 20 inches with arms and toes extended. Width is almost 4 inches at the shoulder, the figures widest part.
