Up for offer is aBEAUTIFUL Vintage 1847 Rogers Bros Silver Plate( and Steel?) Cutlery Carving set. The set includes the knife, fork and honing/sharpener. The knife appears to have been used often showing ware. I tried as best I could to show with pics but kept getting a glare. It measures 13 1/2\" longwith theblade at 9\". The blade is marked 1847 Rogers Bros and feels pretty sharp.The sharpener also shows ware and pics do show this better than knife, it measures 12\" long. The fork really doesn\'t show much ware and the stand is marked PAT\'D May 5 1882 and measures 10\"long.They all have a gorgeous etching in the handle of leaves and pears and are in really great vintage condition. They do need to be cleaned.Thanks so much for looking.
