This listing is for a RARE IOP (iop - in original package) Easter toy duck whistle, in a little flower shaped Easter basket with green Easter grass. There is a broken rubber band inside the package that at one time held the duck in place in the basket. The toys are excellent with no damage; the package is worn. The clear plastic bag is almost opaque, and the cardboard header is age darkened, and worn. It is a charming set - the basket measures about 6\" tall. Tico Toys is a wholly owned subsidiary of the E. Rosen Candy Company in Rhode Island. They started business around the turn of the last century, as a family owned company, and are still family owned, and in business there today! Their vintage pieces, like this one, are highly desired by collectors because of their charm and high quality. They are made from Styrene - molded hard plastic. The designs of their pieces have a wonderful Art Deco quality.
