1950s (1960s at the latest) Schott Bros. police jacket. This jacket was issued and worn, and has the marks on the shoulders from dismounted insignia. The jacket comes with the Government-issued Skilcraft pen that remains in its sleeve.The jacket is completely intact with its original zip-in liner. The synthetic lining is in good condition--and the jacket can be worn with or without the pile lining. Overall the only issue with this piece is that it\'s 60-years-old, and broken-in. The only thing that\'s missing is the Schott tag. Although, as I say, the Schott Bros. tag has been removed, you can see that this is the identical model that sold in the following listing: can see where the tag was removed--exactly where it would have been on the other Schott piece. I believe that this is a horsehide piece, as the other jacket is horsehide. However, it\'s possible that it could be full-grain steerhide. The jacket doesn\'t have its size-tag, but it fits and measures as a 42R or Large. Lying flat, it\'s approximately 22\" in the chest, 20 in the shoulders, 24.5\" in the sleeves (shoulder-seam to cuff), and 25\" from the bottom of the back collar to the hem.
