ITEM: Vintage 1983 Strawberry Shortcake\'s Rainy Day Book, coloring/activity/make-it book, unused!
BEST OFFERS: A good portion of my sales come via a \'best offer\' I accepted. If you submit a serious offer for any of my items, please be prepared to pay for the item within 48 hours after that offer gets accepted. If I accept your offer and you have not communicated with me or paid for the item within 48hrs, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction and relist the item. If need be, I reserve the right to report buyers for non-payment. My overhead is low, so I can afford to accept more offers than you might think. Don\'t hesitate to submit any reasonable offer.
SHIPPING: I ship via USPS w/ delivery confirmation. I try to ship everything I sell within 24-48 hours of payment being received. As a part-time seller however, I may not always make that timeline. If that is the case, I will try to update my buyers on the status of their items asap! If you are buying something expensive/rare from me, I will usually ship those items with insurance for the full amount! In certain situations, I may send an item with signature confirmation. If that happens, I will give my buyer a heads up so they can make plans to have the item signed for when it arrives.
RETURNS/REFUNDS: I do NOT offer returns or refunds! It is the job of the buyer to know what they are offerding on or buying. It is the job of the buyer to ask any and all questions BEFORE they offer/buy! I myself adhere to these expectations as a buyer, and I expect my buyers to as well. I make every effort to package my items securely for shipping. I make every effort to identify and list my items honestly, to the best of my knowledge. Therefore if you receive an item from me with damage from shipping, I will work with you to file a USPS insurance claim! I will NOT issue partial refunds due to the fault of the USPS! If you threaten to report me so you can get a refund, I will ensure the item gets returned before that item is refunded. I will record the opening of that return package to make sure the original item was returned to me untampered with! I will report scam artists to their local authorities for theft, mail fraud, and anything else applicable. Finally, I will report any and all buyers to that I believe to be fraudulent in their dealing with me. I\'ve been selling on for 20+ years...save your scams for someone else!
response: I leave response for my buyers AFTER I receive response from them. Likewise, as a buyer, I leave response first before expecting it in return. I believe this ensures the best chances to resolve any conflicts that may arise BEFORE resorting to leaving negative response or reporting each other. The percentage number is not always an honest representation of us as sellers. As a part-time seller, I don\'t always get the sales volume to ensure one negative response doesn\'t completely tank my percentage number. But I don\'t always get response for every sale I make...some buyers just don\'t want to leave response first. Rest assured any negative response that may show on my profile are from \"bad apple buyers\" that either refused to take accountability for their mistakes, or whom refused to work with me to resolve the issue in the correct manner! My positive response speaks for itself!
ABOUT ME: I have been an seller since 1997! I do this part-time...not full-time, therefore please kindly understand that at times my priorities may be elsewhere and I may not be able to respond as quickly as you might like. That said, I try to check daily to keep up with offers, questions, sales, etc. Even though I have been a seller for the past 20 years, I have been a collector most of my life. I am still a collector of various things myself, so I understand the joys, frustrations, anxieties, and pitfalls of being a collector. This understanding is what drives me to bring together cool stuff with the collectors that love it. This is what I primarily try to do with my sales. Because I have a very low overhead as just a part-time seller, I can offer things at a lesser price than others. If I buy things well, I can accept a lesser profit marginthan the big sellers, and I can try to pass those savings along to other collectors via the \'Best Offer\' feature. Because I am still a collector myself, I take care in trying to sufficiently package your items and ship them in a timely manner. When you buy from me, you can have confidence that you are buying from an honest person who understands being a collector. I try to do my best in identifying and listing all items to the best of my knowledge, but I do not claim to be an expert by any means. Sometimes I get things wrong. If I do, I try to make things right with my buyers. That said, 20+ years of selling on has also exposed me to just about every kind of scam a buyer can run to get something for nothing. Therefore I hold buyers to a higher expectation, as I still buy on for myself. We, as collectors and buyers, have a duty to make sure we know what we are buying. That said, I am happy to answer any and all questions about any of my items if you have doubts/concerns/etc. All I ask is that you be polite about asking those questions. I am a veteran seller of many different genres of collectiblesover the past 20 years, and I have zero patience for the people who believe an effective negotiating tactic is to chastisethe seller by downgrading the items via criticism, hoping to get a better price. That tactic may work with new/inexperienced sellers, but all it will get with me is a spot on my \'blocked\' list.
