OMG! This dress is fabulous, and talk about rare! This is an authentic vintage piece from Thailand.
This was purchased at a Los Angeles vintage clothing store for $925.00 it was purchased for a movie for the wardrobe department.
Made of 100% silk with a beautiful teal and purple Mod Op Art pattern.
The midriff is left open, yet is connected by floral pipping appliqué. The dress is fully lined in silk as well.
Expert craftsmanship and hand finishing. This jewel is very well made.
At first glance you would swear it\'s never been worn or used. There is no underarm discoloration. The fabric colors are strong. The lining is perfect. It shows little use if any.
On close inspection I found:
An area half way down on the skirt that has a couple of tiny picks/ holes. This is nicely camouFlaged by the busy pattern and lining. Really mentioned for accuracy you just can\'t see them.
The model split the kick pleat in back while putting it on. This will need a couple of stitches to repair (see photo).
