STUNNING EXAMPLE OF EARLIER GIVENCHY HAUTE COUTURE WORK FOR THE RUNWAYS!

Absolutely STRIKING, LUXE vintage signed GIVENCHY haute couture LONG SAUTOIR necklace ~ One of my very best, high end pieces to date. In mint, museum-quality condition.

Gorgeous super long sautoir necklace is made up gorgeous beads in faux PEARL, SAPPHIRE & ONYX ~ the beads are not glass, but a lightweight acrylic or lucite Creamy ivory faux peal, marbled, art glass-looking faux sapphire and shiny black faux onyx beads. The necklace is substantial, long opera sautoir length at 34 1/2" with a 3" extender ~ I have also shown this doubled and can be worn like a bib/breatsplate necklace.

A most spectacular tassel drop pendant is the focal point of the piece. This is very beautifully constructed ~ see photos from all angles. Measures a whopping 4 1/2"+ in length including the bale! Very long. The top of the pendant has a faux sapphire, Gripoix-style stone accent. A luxe designer detail. The beads on the tassel are graduating in size, so the largest are at the bottom.

Acquired from the personal collection of a stylist and huge collector ~ I believe this piece is one of a kind. Condition:Mint vintage condition ~ gold tone and beads appear flawless or near flawless. Has not been cleaned. I see no flaws to note. See closeup pics. Quite IMMACULATE condition for its age.
