I did not clean any part of this set. The interior of the box needs fine cleaning and some part of the form underneath the cloth is loose. The box seems like pressed cardboard and covered in green fabric that is pretty good ~ no real flaws but there is a musty / smoky odor to it ~ the lining? box ? The lining can be removed.The hair curler is rusty and seems a little loose but I don\'t really know how it functions. The handles on all look good, some are tarnished and a little dented.The nail buffer and some tools are marked STERLING. The scissors are marked Germany GEB K. FRANCE is on the ivory part of one brush. The 2 glass jars show no flaws. The cover on one is dented a little.
