From a recent estate sale is these Vintage Australian Aboriginal Carved Mulga Wood Parrying Shield and throwing spear ( Woomera). The shield is carved on one side with Kangaroos and the other with Emus. Very nice depictions. The center has a handle. It measures about 28\" long and is about 4 1/2\" at the widest.The Woomera, or Throwing Spear has etched carvings of circles and badges on both sides. I believe this should have a tip? but there is not one on this item. The throwing end has what looks like some kind of tar? or whatever they used, but a portion of the bottom end is worn away and there is something protruding out. I do not know what this is made of. Item measures 26 1/4\" end to end and is a smidge under 4\" at the widest.There is some wear as is normal with these types of items, Please see pics, and ask for more if needed....I was told by previous owner that these were purchased in the 60\'s.No international please,extremely costly to ship because of weight and size.

I am no longer shipping international. It may take a considerable amount of time for your item to arrive buyers - A second invoice will be sent on 3rd day followed by a report to , on 4th day, if no payment is made.
