This amazing little wooden toy has a man in a boat swing. It is on a metal cross piece, and is just adorable! It is a German penny toy, from the Erzgebirge area of Germany, and just great to go with vintage Christmas Putz village scenes. These toys were called Penny Toys, because they originally cost a penny. It is marked Made in Germany on the bottom, and dates to the early 1900\'s. The little piece works great, and has a wonderful antique patina. It measures 3\" tall, and the base is 1 1/2\" x 1 3/4\".Please see my other listings, as there are lots of items like this one!
