VINTAGE Dated Inside Pocket on Tailor\'s Label \"1913\", 3-PIECE EDWARDIAN-TITANIC ERA Gent\'s CUTAWAY FROCK TAILCOAT TUXEDO, Black Wool Gabardine with Heavy Silk Faille Wide Peak Lapels and Silk Faille Covered Buttons. *OUTSTANDING TAILORING AND CRAFTSMANSHIP, The interior Silk Lining of the Jacket appears to be HAND-STITCHED at the Ornate Seam Construction, AMAZING. The Tailcoat does have the HIDDEN Cotton-Lined POCKETS in the Lining of Both Sides of the Tails. This Likely has a Historical Connection, the Owner\'s Name on the Label is \"Armstrong\", (which is the name of the County where this piece was Acquired), and the Provenance is that it belonged to a Prominent Doctor here. The County was named in honor of John Armstrong, who represented Pennsylvania in the Continental Congress and served as a Major General during the Revolutionary War. This was highly likely one of his relatives, (you can see the \"Jr.\" after the Name Armstrong on the Label). High-Waist Button-Fly Trousers have the Suspender Buttons at the inside waistband, as well as the \"Pocket Watch\" Pocket below the front waist. The Pockets of the Trousers are Lined in a Beautiful Glossy Black Glazed Cotton. The Vest has a Gunmetal-Gray Enameled Back Buckle and Interior Adjustable Straps with Metal Slides on each side of the front waist (see pic). Vest is Lined in Ivory Glazed Cotton. Measurements: Chest-38\", Shoulder to shoulder-17\", Sleeve-24\", Length rear collar seam to tail hem-40 1/2\". Vest Chest-36\", Length rear collar Edge to Hem in front-23 1/4\", Trouser Waist-35\", Inseam-31 1/2\", Rise-15\". EXCELLENT WEARABLE CONDITION, NO moth damage noted, NO underarm stains to the jacket or vest. The Vest has some stains to the lining, the darkest of which is shown in the 2nd to last picture, and the Jacket has a a few very small shreds to the silk at the underside of one Faille Lapel that are inconsequential. There is a tiny threadbare spot at the exterior right lapel, (shown in the last pic). This Tuxedo is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION, it\'s early age considered, a Wonderful Trip back in Time in the Age of Opulence and Privilege!
