You are looking at a cool vintage Capodimonte lamp. It could use a good cleaning (I\'ll leave that to you) and is sold in as found condition. It does work. The mechanics, ie, shade harness, bulb holder, cord does not appear to be original but I really don\'t know. I have no idea how old this is, but based on others I\'ve seen, perhaps it is from the 30\'s or 40\'s. Cast metal dolphin or serpent legs. Some rust on the underside of the base. Measures approximately 16.5\" from bottom of the base to the top of the bulb holder, and approximately 7\" in diameter at it\'s widest point, and also the base. It is signed Capodimonte Italy on the underside, and is numbered 508. I don\'t see any chips or repairs. This item is sold in as found condition, and is sold as-is. I MAY, at my discretion, choose to ship this item to you via Fed Ex instead of USPS, which will result in NO additional cost to you, but will get it to you quicker : ) As a result, I can not ship this via Fed-Ex to P.O. Boxes, and that is the shipping charge that has been quoted. Therefore, if you have a P.O. Box as your shipping address, you can still offer but shipping will need to be calculated, so please contact me with your zipcode first, so I can tell you the actual cost to get it to you. Again, I reserve the right to use either Fed Ex or USPS to ship your item, always taking in to account the quickest and most efficient way to get your purchase to you safely. Local pickup is also available in the Santa Clarita, CA area (Los Angeles area).
