They are that beautiful! They are made of a heavy glass, colors are blue, beige, golds, light purple accents, white accents - with many ocean figurines embedded into the plate...starfish, sand dollar, shells, coral reef and the word \"Ocean\" in each square of the plate.These four plates are like owning fine art - they are very heavy glass; each plate has four soft cushion pads (one in each corner) and they measure 10.5 x 10.5 inches each. Note that they should be hand washed.
