Vintage pair of large silver plate Kings Pattern tongs with bird claw grippers in very good condition - these date to the Edwardian period I think.
They have the Three Stars into a Shamrock mark for Barker Brothers.
The Kings Pattern design on the arms is crisp and there is no loss of plate. The grips on the ends are birds claw and are well modeled.
These are a large pair of tongs measuring 6.5 inches or 16.5 cms long and the widest span of the birds claw is just over 1.5 inches or 4 cms.
