Up for sale is this Vintage OLD African Handmade Bronze Plate w/Wooden Sculpture\" Fortune Teller\" RARE!!.It was explained to me by an African Dealer that these were used for \"Fortune Telling\" by rolling 2 cowrie shells 1st and if the coins landed on the same side it was good fortune, but if they landed on opposite sides of eachother it was not good! If the 2 shells landed on the same side they would increase the shells to 4 than 6 etc... to see the amount of good fortune you would have!!
