This Popeye PEZ dispenser belonged to my mother. I discovered it while going through all her collectibles. I think it is from 1960, or earlier. I also think it is called \"Version B\".
On the side appears \"U.S. PATENT 2.620.061 MADE IN AUSTRIA\". On the back-side of the head is \"copyright symbol KFS\". All parts are working, as far as I can tell, and the dispenser is in extremely good shape and appearance. My mother took good care of her things.
The color is more medium blue than the greenish-blue in my photo.
This Popeye Dispenser takes me back to my childhood. Popeye, with his pipe sticking out of the side of his mouth, his cap, smile and wink in his eye...
