Great Vintage Singer Featherweight Free Arm Sewing Machine with case and accessories as shown, in working condition. The machine is circa Nov.18, 1953, serial # EJ269435, it is in working condition. When acquired the 3 prong plug that goes into machine was not together, in order to test and make sure machine works we assembled it and tested this, it is in working condition and runs smoothly. The plug does not have the ground wire attached so that will need to be done or replace the foot pedal and cord. I am mentioning this so buyer is aware, other than that this machine is extra nice condition. The motor is marked 25-75 CYC & DC, 110-120 volts, this has been used and well cared for over the years, the black enamel is clean over the surface, the gold design is bright, the belt is firm and strong. Includes many extra bobbins, thread, Buttonholer and Case with 8 templates and instruction booklet. The Free Arm part is marked 171071 Simanco, shown in pictures, also includes machine needles. This is a hard to find machine, I believe only 5000 of this model were made in 1953. I do sew but do not do quilting, I know little about these other than what I research but will be happy to answer any questions. Some areas of the machine enamel show crazing to the finish, minor but mentioned for accuracy. As stated this runs smoothly but has not been used in years and should be oiled and maybe plug replaced or repaired, there is a musty scent inside the case. I do not have a key for this but the case closes and latches fine.All reasonable offers will be considered and answered.I ship USPS, parcel select or priority mail, whichever is best price for buyer location.
