Offered here is a beautiful blonde UNEEDA Dollikin doll with twist waist and Revlon type body, not multi-jointed. She has wonderful thick \"Shirley Temple\" coiled curls all around her head and curling bangs. She stands just under 19 inches tall. She has a lovely face with high cheek bones, wonderful hazel open and close eyes, rosy cheeks, red lips, painted brows, and all her eye lashes! This doll and her unique hair style reminds me of a lovely Southern lady, on her way to a tea, picnic or ice cream social.
She is dressed in a lovely crisp, starched cotton polka dot dress, with a flaring skirt; it has a white field and black polka dots, accented by red ribbon roses at the waist, and a red ribbon waist band that ties at the back. The sleeveless dress features a turn down collar that is trimmed with tiny white bugle beads. This dress is lined in white. Beneath her very full skirt is a vintage doll slip, white taffeta with white tulle edged in red ruffled trim and an elastic waist that still has its stretch. The slip has a couple places where the red from the ruffled trim has run a bit, but this in no way detracts from its lovely vintage quality. Seeing the red ruffled trim peaking out from under the black and white lined polka dot dress is really fun!She wears new white lace panties and vintage white strappy sandal high heel shoes. She carries a lovely black straw hand bag trimmed with red roses, and wears a vintage black straw bonnet that ties under her chin with a very long vintage red velvet ribbon. The hat is decorated with wonderful deep, cherry red roses and leaves and a red veil that goes over the crown of the hat. It fits her head perfectly. Around her neck she wears a lovely black bead necklace and she has two silver and red bead bracelets on her left wrist.
This is an adorable vintage Uneeda fashion doll, marked with the makers mark at the back of her neck and the 2S. She has one tiny red mark on her upper left thigh; see last photo. That is the only staining I found. She has no odors. She will be wrapped very well for shipping. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they arrive in excellent condition and do not move around in transit. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE.
