People always asking \"What year is your VW?\"These are reproductions of the vintage Year-Of-Manufacture stickers.
They are 2x3\", and cut from super-quality Orafol 951 CAST vinyl. It won\'t shrink or get nasty under the sun. Cheaper, calendered vinyl is usually used in stickers like these, but they start to look bad in short time. This vinyl is 3x the price of the cheap stuff, but the results are worth it.I use the iconic Dove Blue color for these; it matches the color that VW used in their print ads in the 60\'s - not to mention it\'s the color made famous by the commercial Type-2.
I also updated the VW logo and font to reflect the 60\'s/ 70\'s corporate logos- I\'ve typically seen these using VW\'s later bubble-font, and it doesn\'t look as nice.When selecting the year of your sticker, please note that I can cut these in reverse for an inside installation. You will install it just the same, it\'ll just look like a mirror image when you receive it. It\'ll look correct when you see it through the glass. ;)*note* the pictures with the decal on the window don\'t show the color accurately. The picture with the multiple stickers is more accurate.
