If a package has visible damage to the exteriorwhen it arrives, take a picture before opening. Also take photos of theinterior condition before removing any items. If any item is damaged, takephotos of the packing materials, how it was packed and the specific damage tothe item. Save all packing materials. Carriersuse these photos to determine liability and they can do it much faster withgood documentation. If you think the item was packed negligently it’s ok totell me so. When a claim is filed the carrier determines the outcome, not me.As for our record… we have been doing this since 2007 and we have never refuseda return/refund.
