Up for sale is an incredibly rare and very nice marked trade axe found in Vermont. This is fine and large example! This is marked \"LAP\", tough to find a nice axe with a makers mark. It is in nearly perfect condition, a feat as many of these pieces often have damage. This has been hand-forged and is a nice early example. The piece measures 8 1/2\" long. Nice early trade piece. Will give the previous collector information to the winning buyer. This is from the same collection as the trade cross I currently have listed.
