My ninety two year old aunt passed away recently, and I have inherited a number of her Versailles pieces which I always admired growing up. I suppose that\'s why she left them all to me. Unfortunately, I\'m not a big entertainer, and I don\'t see myself putting these things to good use. I\'m sure there are other collectors out there who appreciate the beauty of this particular silver pattern. From what I can see, some of the rarer pieces are worth quite a bit such as these, so rather than melt them down, I\'m offering them here. This is the larger roaster carving set in this collection I believe. The knife is approximately 14\" as well as the sharpener and the fork is 11\" .
I took a number of photos to provide you with the best clarity I can. Lighting and reflection is always an issue when you\'re an amateur photographer like myself, but the condition of this set looks amazing, in my opinion, given their age. I don\'t think she used any of her things frequently because there\'s very little to observe in the way of dents or scratches, but please judge this set for yourself in the way of any flaws you can see. I believe the monogram is DB.
