Buyers fromCHINA, Please make sure you have the shipping address inHong Kongand it\'s on your PayPal, as we will Not ship nice example of the mid to late 18th century Hussar officer\'s saber, most likely of German origin but very well may be of German manufacture for either French or Hungarian market, wearing a fine quality broad lightly curved blade with one one wide and one narrow fuller to each side exhibiting lovely original bright steel finish with nice light patina, both sides with fine quality engraved decorations depicting mounted Hussars with sword drawn, Turk\'s head and panoplies bordered by two rows of carbolistic symbols on each side, lower spine with well preserved struck maker mark to the famous Solingen maker J.J. Runkel. Steel mounted hilt with strong D-guard having long vertical langets to the cross guard, original leather over wood grip showing minimal wear and imprints of the twisted wire bondage now lacking. Solid and overall in battle ready condition with micro-play to the D-guard almost unnoticeable, otherwise this is a very very impressive and exceptionally battle-worthy early saber.
