This graceful bracelet was formed with a great deal of attention to detail - each \"new moon\" element has been carefully engraved with the traditional \"dogtooth\" design, connected with beautifully made links, and punctuated with tiny drop-shapes decorated with graduated half-spheres. The clasp has been designed to echo the square tiles of agate so that when worn, the bracelet appears to be an unbroken series of shining diagonal squares embraced by contrasting textured arcs. The craftsman has embedded each stone tile in a silver case, and has made the single grey banded agate tile the center of a symmetrical pattern, with one red and one bloodstone tile on each side. The bracelet has sustained damage on the back near the clasp, but fortunately there is only a near-invisible alteration in the adjoining \"new moon\" element (see picture). The new moon elements appear to have been assembled from separate pieces, so the bracelet is very light to wear, but is accordingly more delicate than many Scottish agate and silver jewels. I don\'t find identifying marks so can\'t say that the bracelet is sterling, but as there are no areas suggesting a plated finish, one may enjoy it with confidence that it\'s a quality piece, beautifully designed and made. It is 1\" wide and 8\" long.
