This sale is for a beautiful vintage Chinese cloisonne vases decorated with dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The background is black with clouds created by cloisonne wires. The focal point of the design is two dragons wrapped around each vase. The dragons are face to face with the flaming pearl in the center on one side. The last five toed foot on each dragon almost meets on the opposite side of the vase.There is a fancy border at the base of the vase.
Dragons are a favorite subject in antique Chinese cloisonne and highly sought by collectors.There is very minor pitting as is common in cloisonne. I could not see or feel any enamel loss.Height:15 1/2\"Width across: 5\"On Feb-22-15 at 10:36:57 PST, seller added the following information:
