Up for sale is a superbly carved, very large Chinese imperial style jadeite jade seal block. The seal block features a lone old wise dragon coiled amid tumbling waves playing with his precious pearl. The jadeite jade body of the seal block is of fine quality, semi-translucent with varying hues including pink, purple, greenish, white etc depending on the intensity of lighting. The seal block is an attribute to a Qing Dynasty imperial jade seal but is left uninscribed. It\'s is a truly fine and delightful piece of carving work of art
The seal block base is square shaped and quite large, measuring 4 inches on each side, with 16 square inch surface. It\'s approx. 6.5 inches tall and weighs approx. 4 lbs.Condition: excellent, almost mint. a small bump to a corner.
