Antique WMF Silver Plated Art Nouveau Sugar Basket, early piece dated 1898 -1903 with the unusual K Mark ( Copper used )
Here we have a lovely substantial Piece WMF Silver plated Art Nouveau Suger basket, beautifully polished finish with a lovely shape, still looks modern in todays interior design. its very simular to a open Lilly flower with the edge of the petals slightly curling at the ends, beutiful fixed handle with a vine intertwine and fruit with leaf.Its stands on 4 ball feet, the underside is also highly polished.Very decent size and highly usable as a fruit basket.
ConditionExcellent condition with no or little silver loss , No dents, dints or nibbles, no pieces broken or loose, its a very strong structure and shall last another 100 years, its stands on Four ball feet which are straight and firm the handle is strong and completely in tact.Polishes up lovely and really is in excellent condtion.Quality piece of WNF.
