You are looking at a very nice silver plated Bach TR200S trumpet. It is in very good condition. Everything works as it should. The trumpet plays, feels, and sounds great. It is a very fine intermediate level trumpet.

With a serial number of 654XXX, this trumpet was most likely built in 2007 or 2008.

The trumpet is in very good condition. The silver plating is at least 99% complete. There are some very small shallow dings which are only noticeable upon close inspection. Please look closely at the pictures and judge for yourself. The are light scratches which are also not very noticeable. Overall, the finish is very nice, smooth, shiny, and mirror-like. The engraving is very nice and it is crisp and clearly visible.

The valves move up and down smoothly, quickly, and quietly. They show minimal wear.

All slides move smoothly. The 3 valve slides make a good pop when pulled out.

Compression/vacuum is very good.

All valve caps are clean, inside and out, and they all screw on and off easily.

The finger buttons have beautiful mother of pearl inlays with no chips or cracks.

All bracing is strong and secure.

If you have been shopping around for a new TR200, you know that they sell for $1,850 to $2,000. The TR200 in this listing is a very nice one and it won\'t cost you anywhere near what a new one will cost.

If you are a parent and you are looking for a trumpet for you child, this would be a good one. A new qualityentry leveltrumpet from a music store will cost you over $1,000, and it will still be just an entry level trumpet and the quality will most likely not be as good as a Bach TR200. So you might want to consider this one. It is most certainly better than renting too. A couple of years of renting will cost you over $400 and then you have to either rent more or give the trumpet back to the store. This trumpet can most likely be won in this sale for close to the price of renting for a couple of years, but you won\'t have to give this one back. If taken care of, it can be sold to get your money back (and maybe a little more) if your child decides not to play it after a couple of years.

The trumpet has been cleaned out with warm soapy water, soft brushes, and a cleaning snake, so there is not dirt or grime that can be removed with soap and water remaining in the trumpet. As with all used brass instruments, a chem clean or an ultra sonic cleaning is recommended.

I do play trumpet and can say that the TR200 is one of the best intermediate level trumpets out there and this particular one is a very nice one, and it plays well and has a beautiful sound. This trumpet will come to you with valves oiled, slides greased, and ready to play.

This fine trumpet comes in its original case which is clean and in good condition.

A Blessing 5C mouthpiece in very good condition is also included. It has been clean and sanitized and looks almost new.

Also include is a Shastook straight mute. It is in good condition and works well.
