First of all, I am really hating my camera lately, especially when it comes to photographing colorful guitars...This guitar body is actually & very definitive red color. blood red to my eye. I included a pic of an Ibanez Satriani JS model with pretty much the same color, but maybe a few shades lighter for added reference. Again, this body is NOT orange, it is a straight-up red. The close-up pic of the switch/controls area is pretty close. Thank you.This is a red Made in Japan 1988 Ibanez RG340 body in excellent condition with only minor wear for it\'s age. These guitars are super rare & only made in 1988. They are also one of the few RG\'s that used a 22 fret neck. Also, this particular model uses a Floyd Rose type bridge (my Floyd Rose Special fit it perfectly, so an Original or similar should mount right on. They also released a few RG340\'s with the TRT-1 trem, but they will not work on this version as the baseplate is too wide for the route. The TRT\'s were crappy trems IMHO, so you are really better off with this version.This body had only a few minor, touched-up edge dings that really do nothing to detract from the appearance of the guitar. Has the requisite & very minor finish cracks at neck joint in finish only. Amazing condition for age as has no buckle rash or significant wear to the top.Comes with both cavity plates, output jack plate & strap pins as well as inserts & stabilizer for trem screws.Weight as presented is 3 pounds, 6 ounces. Body is basswood.The shape is somewhere in between a classic RG & the Saber models. A very sleek body & the color actually is slightly pearlized & just beams when seen in person.I have the neck, but decided to use it on my custom partscaster guitar.
