Here is a rare find for you Railroadiana enthusiasts! This is a Handlan Single wire guardwith lots of original tin and solid metal from the standard gauge Railroad.

It is9\" tall without the bail. The lantern comes with a near perfect 3 1/4\" tall clear globe that is in great condition, very nice! The top and bottom rims of the globe have no chips or flea bites. The lantern is embossed on the top lid \"Handlan,St. Louis USA RPR\", with the patent dates embossed on the very BOTTOM \"7 - 10 - 28\".The lantern comes with the correct drop in fount and burner that has lots of tin and will hold oil and burn.Last Incorporated date in 1928.A very hard to find lantern missing in most collections, don\'t let this one pass you by!
