This is a very old antique violin to berepaired and restored.The violin has traces of a long history as you cansee from its appearance.

Inside it bears a label:

Nicoloi Amati, &

Andrea Hieronymus

Facit in Cremona 1667

There had been major repairnear the back button but is now detached. Two positions on each side of the ribalso require repair, as you can see in the photo. A few fine repaired cracksare on the table. Otherwise the belly and the back look beautiful. The violin should sound nice once repaired.
