Gorgeous, Pristine 19th C Meissen Cobalt Blue Double Inkwell.

This is a truly beautiful, perfect condition 19th century Meissen inkwell cobalt blue \"background\", with two hand-painted \"lidded ink pots\" seated in a hand-painted tray. The tray and its pots are perfectly painted with cherubs, flowers and insects, all bordered with a gold gilt edge (it is truly spectacular).

It is must for all Meissen and inkwell collectors alike.

This set is complete with all its original parts, no pieces have been added, restored or replaced.

It is in PRISTINE original condition, with no damage or restoration.

The overall size of the tray is 8 3/4\" long, and 5 3/4\" wide, and the height of each inkwell in the tray is 2 1/2\".
