1940\'s 25\" PUDGY Composition Doll Orig Clothes & Paint
If you are looking for an untouched doll in very good condition this is it. This is an estate find from a very elderly lady. This doll has had very little play time and it still has its untouched up original paint. This chubby baby has a clean cloth body with composition arms, legs, and head, molded hair, sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 teeth and a tongue. She has lovely blue tin eyes, a few of her lashes are missing but they still look good (see photos). Her arms and legs are chubby like a fat baby and has all of it\'s fingers and toes. She came to me in her original factory made clothes, dress, slip and hat. I washed her clothes since they were dingy and the delicate fabric developed a few flaws as you can see but it is very hard to find original clothes and she looks good in them. Her hat has an old patch in the back where it is hard to see. I added the baby booties and think they go well with her dress. She does not have any cracks or crazing or lifted paint. Her body has a resewed place in the back of one of them and it is clean with no odor. The doll is not marked so I do not know who made her. She has spent her life wrapped in a blanket in a trunk which accounts for her good condition. I have her identical sister doll and it came with the identical factory made clothes in a different color.
