A rare and very unusual antique piece worthy of being a book piece or in a museum. The centerpiece of the pendant is a picture/moss agate, formed entirely by nature, which were highly coveted for it\'s patterns that often resembled scenery, and on rare occasions, certain objects or animals. I\'ve seen agates with simple birds, trees, leaves but even those are uncommon. This piece is so rare and unusual because the pattern in the agate actually resembles a squirrel holding an acorn (It might take a moment to recognize it, but once you see it, it\'s hard not to see it). The rare agate is set in a ornate setting with a small but genuine diamond chip near the top of the agate. Overall, it\'s in good condition however there is significant wear to the metal, including loss of gold finish, and scratches on the back; the agate has a gentle burnish but still a nice polish. A really nice piece to add to your collection. If this ever gets published, please let me know!
