A very rare book of common prayer in chatelaine prayer book holder. The white metal holder has a registration mark of march 21, 1873. The book of common prayer in purple velvet cover was printer by G.E. Eyre and W. Spottiswoode in London, in or before 1855. In it are a.o. tables to calculated certain feast days in various years between 1855 and 1899. The holder left traces on the cover, but both are in excellent condition. Dimensions of the book about 6.5 x 10 cm., 2.5 x 10\".
