Very Rare Gulch, Colorado Lower End. RPPC. Mining Ghost Town, DPO Cancel 1912:
$8.99
This is a very rare postcard of the lower end of Gulch, Colorado. It is the only real photo postcard of the town that I have seen in 30+ years of collecting, buying, and selling Colorado postcards. The card is in very poor condition with corners and pieces missing and creases. However, I have learned from hard experience that if it is the only card you have seen of a location, you should buy it because you will never see it again. Gulch was a mining town located in Pitkin County south of Glenwood Springs. The card was mailed from Gulch in April 1912 (DPO 1895-1916; SI5). This will make a nice addition for a person who collects Gulch, Pitkin County, mining, ghost towns, DPO, and/or Colorado postcards. I scanned the card outside the margins so you can see the corners and edges. This is one of many postcards that I will be listing from my 30-year collection of Colorado postcards. I will issue a refund for postcards that are not as described. US postage is $2.62 (my cost) and International postage is $13.60 (also my cost). I will combine postage for up to three cards for the prices shown. I am a Colorado postcard dealer, so Colorado residents must pay 2.9% sales tax. If you purchase multiple postcards, please wait until I can send you an invoice with combined postage. offer with confidence.
